Dr. J. Lee is the Program Director for the Sport Management program at Texas Tech University.

Dr. J. Lee is the Program Director for the Sport Management program at Texas Tech University. He has over twenty years of experience in the field of sport management, having worked in collegiate and professional sport organizations. His research interests include sport finance, sport marketing, and facility management.

Dr. Lee has been with Texas Tech for over 20 years and has been instrumental in the development of the Sport Management program.

Dr. J. Lee has been with Texas Tech for over 20 years and has been instrumental in the development of the Sport Management program. He has served as the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Director of Graduate Studies, and Chair of the Department of Kinesiology & Sport Sciences. Dr. Lee’s research interests are in the areas of sport marketing and management, and he has published over 60 refereed journal articles and book chapters. He has also made over 80 presentations at national and international conferences. In addition to his scholarly achievements, Dr. Lee is a Certified Public Manager (CPM) and a Certified Sport Marketing Professional (CSMP).

Dr. Lee’s research interests include sport marketing, sport consumer behavior, and sport management education.

Dr. Lee has also presented his research at various national and international conferences including the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM), European Association for Sport Management (EASM), and Association for Marketing Theory and Practice (AMTP).

Dr. James (Jim) Lee is a Professor in the Department of Sport Management at Texas Tech University. His research interests include issues related to fan behavior, marketing, and sponsorship in sport. He has been published in numerous journals and has presented at many national and international conferences. Dr. Lee has also been recognized for his teaching excellence having received both university and college teaching awards.
