What is the Texas Sport Kite Association?

The Texas Sport Kite Association (TSKA) is a sport kite club based in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex of Texas. We are a member of the American Kitefliers Association (AKA) and the League of Rhode Island Kitefliers (LRIKF).

The Texas Sport Kite Association was founded in 1993 by a group of kite enthusiasts who wanted to promote the sport of kiting in Texas. The club is open to anyone who loves to fly kites, whether they are beginners or experts. We hold monthly meetings (except for December) where members can socialize, learn about new kiting techniques, and share their love of kites with others. We also hold regular fly-ins and workshops throughout the year, which are open to the public.

The Texas Sport Kite Association (TSKA) was formed in the early 1990’s to promote and develop the sport of kite flying in Texas. The TSKA is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers. We are dedicated to the education of both new and experienced kite fliers.

What are the requirements for membership in the Texas Sport Kite Association?

To join the Texas Sport Kite Association, you must:

-Be at least 18 years of age
-Live in Texas
-Be a US citizen or legal resident
-Have a valid driver’s license
-Have a valid email address
-Agree to the terms and conditions of the membership agreement

Once you have met all of the requirements, you can fill out an online application and pay the annual membership fee.

What are the different membership levels in the Texas Sport Kite Association?

The Texas Sport Kite Association is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the sport of kite flying. We have five membership levels: Basic, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each level has its own benefits and privileges.

-Basic Membership:This level is for those who are new to the sport of kite flying or are interested in joining the association. Basic members have access to our monthly newsletter, discounts on membership fees for events, and access to our members-only website.

-Bronze Membership: This level is for those who have been kite flying for a while and are interested in getting more involved with the association. Bronze members have all of the benefits of Basic membership, plus they receive discounts on merchandise purchases, access to our online forum, and invitations to exclusive events.

-Silver Membership: This level is for those who are actively involved in the sport of kite flying and want to support the association. Silver members have all of the benefits of Bronze membership, plus they receive a free annual subscription to our quarterly magazine, “The Kite Line”, and free admission to our annual conference.

-Gold Membership: This level is for those who are dedicated to promoting and advancing the sport of kite flying. Gold members have all of the benefits of Silver membership, plus they receive a free lifetime membership in the association.

What are the events hosted by the Texas Sport Kite Association?

The Texas Sport Kite Association (TSKA) is a non-profit organization that hosts several kite flying events throughout the year. The most popular event is the Texas State Championships, which is held in October each year. Other events include the Spring Fling and the Lone Star Roundup.

What are the rules of the Texas Sport Kite Association?

The rules of the Texas Sport Kite Association (TSKA) are designed to promote safety and fair play among kite flyers of all skill levels. All members must abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the TSKA in order to maintain their membership in good standing.

1. All members must be current on their membership dues in order to participate in any TSKA event.
2. All members must sign a waiver of liability form before participating in any TSKA event.
3. No member shall fly a kite in a manner that endangers the safety of other persons or property.
4. No member shall fly a kite within the regulated airspace of an airport without prior permission from the airport authorities.
5. No member shall engage in any illegal activity while participating in any TSKA event.
6. All members are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner while representing the TSKA at events.
7. The TSKA Board of Directors may impose sanctions on any member who violates these rules, up to and including revocation of membership privileges
