The purpose of this tournament is to crown the best of the best in each divisional age group and weight class in the state of Texas.

The TSKF State Finals will be held on October 19-20, 2019 at Bendetti Ballroom inside of Levy Hall located on St. Edward’s University campus – 3001 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704. There will be a $20 registration fee for all competitors. This fee will cover your registration for the entire weekend and will entitle you to compete in up to 3 divisions (with no limit on events). Additional divisions can be added for $10 per division. Friday night will feature black belt divisions only, while Saturday will be determined by pre-registration numbers and may include both color belt and black belt divisions.

There are four different ways to qualify for the TSKF State Finals:
1) Be a current member of the TSKF (annual dues are $50 for individuals and $75 for families – this entitles you to compete in all TSKF sanctioned tournaments throughout the year).
2) Win 1st place at a regional qualifier tournament (a list of qualifying tournaments can be found on our website).
3) Win 1st place at the Texas State Championships.
4) Receive a wild card invitation from the TSKF board (invitations will be based on fighting ability as well as sportsmanship).
