Graduate School admission requirements:
-Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
-Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the last 60 hours of coursework
-Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test scores at or above the 50th percentile
-Conditional admission may be granted to applicants who do not meet all Graduate School admission requirements; however, all deficiencies must be removed within the first 12 hours of graduate coursework

Departmental admission requirements:
In addition to meeting the Graduate School admission requirements, applicants must have taken an introductory course in statistics and earned a grade of “C” or better within the last five years. Applicants who have not taken an introductory course in statistics must complete such a course prior to enrolling in 5000-level sport management courses. Statistics courses that may satisfy this requirement include, but are not limited to, HESC/KINE 2301 3 (Introduction to Statistics in Kinesiology), HESC/KINE 2302 3 (Statistical Methods I), PSYC 2301 3 (Introduction to Statistics), or any other 3000-level or above statistics course approved by the department.
