Sport Management Student Association (SMSA)
SMSA is a student-run organization that provides networking and professional development opportunities for students interested in sport management. SMSA also organizes site visits to sport organizations and hosts speakers from the industry. If you are interested in sport management, SMSA is a great way to get involved on campus!
Mission
The Sport Management Student Association (SMSA) is a Texas A&M sport management graduate student organization that strives to enhance the educational experience and professional development of its members through interaction with faculty, administrators, alumni, and other graduate students. SMSA provides opportunities for graduate students to develop leadership skills, give back to the community, and network with professionals in the sport industry.
Activities
The Sport Management Student Association (SMSA) is a graduate student organization designed to promote professional development and social interaction among students in the Department of Sport Management at Texas A&M University.
Each semester, SMSA hosts a variety of events and activities, including guest speakers, panel discussions, resume workshops, networking opportunities, and social gatherings. These events provide students with valuable information about working in the sport industry as well as an opportunity to build relationships with their peers and sport industry professionals.
Membership
The Sport Management Student Association (SMSA) is a club for students interested in sport management and related fields. We welcome all majors and degree levels!
Some of our recent events and activities include guest speakers from various sport organizations, a tailgate at the Maryland vs. Texas A&M football game, volunteering at the Big Event (TAMU’s annual day of community service), and fundraisers for our annual scholarship awarded to a sport management student.

Sport Marketing Association (SMA)
Sport Marketing Association (SMA) is a professional, student-run organization at Texas A&M University that focuses on providing its members with experience and insight in the sport marketing industry. Sport Marketing Association also strives to promote the professional development of its members through various educational workshops and guest speaker events.
Mission
The Sport Marketing Association develops students’ ability to think critically, communicate effectively and become more knowledgeable about the business of sport through engaging speakers, thoughtful discussions, case studies and collaborative projects.
Activities
The SMA is a student run organization that helps provide professional development and networking opportunities for those interested in sport marketing. The SMA also aids in the placement of students in internships and full-time jobs upon graduation. We accomplish these goals through various activities throughout the year including:

Membership

Membership in SMA is open to all Texas A&M University students enrolled in a graduate degree program.

SFEMA is a new graduate student organization at Texas A&M University. Our members are dedicated to promoting the sport and event management industry through professional development and networking opportunities. We also strive to provide volunteer and service opportunities for our members to give back to the community.

The Sport Facilities and Event Management Association (SFEMA) is a graduate organization designed to enhance the educational experience of its members and prepare them for leadership roles in the sport industry. The association accomplishes this by providing opportunities for networking, professional development, and community service.
Activities
The Sport Facilities and Event Management Association (SFEMA) strives to provide members with opportunities to gain experience in their desired field of sport management through various means such as internships, volunteering, networking, and job shadowing. In addition, SFEMA also works to promote leadership development and professional skills among its members.
Membership
Joining SFEMA is easy and only requires that you pay the yearly membership fee of $40. As a member, you will have access to all of our events and resources, as well as discounts on tickets to professional sport events. You can also choose to be added to our job board, which will allow you employers to see your resume and contact you directly.
