Football
Kyle Field
If you’re a sports fan, then you’ll want to check out Kyle Field. This is the home of the Texas A&M football team, and it’s one of the largest stadiums in the country. With a capacity of over 102,000, it’s the fourth-largest stadium in the NCAA. You can catch a game here during football season (which runs from September to December), and you’ll definitely want to experience the unique atmosphere of a college football game.
Midnight Yell
Midnight Yell is a school spirit tradition at Texas A&M University. The tradition began in 1931 as a way for the football team to practice its yells and for students to show their support for the team. Midnight Yell is now held the night before every home game, usually at midnight, and typically lasts for about an hour.
Baseball
The Aggies have one of the most storied baseball programs in all of college baseball. They have appeared in the College World Series 27 times and have won it twice. The Aggies have produced many Major League Baseball players, including Hall of Famer RafaelPalmeiro.

Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park
The home of Aggie baseball is Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2009. The park has undergone several major renovations and expansions throughout its history, most notably in 1985, when the capacity was increased to 8,100 and the Left Field Lounge was added. The current capacity is 9,733.
In 2012, the Aggies completed a $16 million expansion and renovation project that included a new home clubhouse, locker room, weight room and training facility for the baseball program. The project also included reconfiguring the seating bowl and adding premium seating options.
Basketball
As one of the most popular NCAA Division I college basketball teams, the Texas A&M Aggies have built a legacy of success on and off the court. The team has won conference championships and made appearances in the NCAA tournament, and their student-athletes have gone on to play in the NBA.
Reed Arena
Reed Arena is a 12,989-seat multi-purpose arena in College Station, Texas. Reed Arena hosts Aggie Volleyball, Aggie Women’s Basketball, and Aggie Men’s Basketball. It also serves as a venue for entertainment events such as concerts, rodeos, and commencement exercises.
The arena opened on November 8, 1998, with a basketball game between the Texas A&M Aggies men’s basketball team and the Louisville Cardinals men’s basketball team. Reed Arena has a maximum capacity of 14,200 people for sporting events and up to 15,000 people for concerts.
G. Rollie White Coliseum
The G. Rollie White Coliseum is the home of the Texas A&M basketball team. The coliseum opened in 1953 and has a capacity of 12,989 people. The coliseum is named after former Texas A&M president Gen. Earl Rudder.
Tennis
Even if you’re not a sports fan, you can’t help but get excited about the sporting events that take place at Texas A&M University. The school is home to some of the most talented athletes in the country, and the tennis team is no exception. George P. Mitchell Tennis Center
The George P. Mitchell Tennis Center features 24 outdoor courts, a 10,000 square-foot pro shop, and the only collegiate indoor tennis facility in Texas. The stadium is home to both the men’s and women’s tennis teams, as well as the nationally ranked Junior Tennis program.
The center is named for oilman and former Texas A&M regent George P. Mitchell ’40, who made the lead gift for its construction. Mitchell, who died in 2013 at age 94, was a passionate supporter of Aggie athletics and was inducted into the Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012.
Track and Field
One of the most popular sports at Texas A&M is Track and Field. The Track and Field team is one of the most successful teams in the country, and they always put on a great show. If you’re looking for a fun and competitive environment, Track and Field is the place for you.
E.B. Cushing Stadium-Clark Field
Located at the heart of the Texas A&M University campus, home of the 12th Man, is E.B. Cushing Stadium-Clark Field. The stadium is used for football and track & field events. It has a seating capacity of 82,600, making it the largest stadium in the Southeastern Conference and the fourth-largest stadium in the NCAA.
The facility is named for Edwin Jackson Kyle, former president of both Texas A&M University and the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas. The stadium opened in 1904 as Aggie Field and renamed Kyle Field in 1928 in honor of Jackson Kyle. It has undergone several expansions and renovations over the years, most recently in 2014 when its capacity was increased to 82,600.
The stadium is home to many traditions, such as Midnight Yell Practice, Reveille sounded on game days by cannon fire, and The 12th Man Kickoff Team.
