The program is offered jointly by the Departments of Health and Kinesiology, Educational Psychology, and Sociology.
The Master of Science in Sport Management program at Texas A&M University is designed to develop the professional skills and knowledge necessary for careers in the sport industry. The program provides students with a solid foundation in the business of sport, including an understanding of the structure and function of sport organizations, the business of sport marketing, finance, and event management. Students will also gain an understanding of the sociological and psychological aspects of sport.
The 30-hour graduate curriculum for the Master of Science in Sport Management degree at Texas A&M University is designed to provide students with advanced analytical and management skills that are specific to the sport industry. Students complete core coursework in sport management, research methods, and statistics. To be eligible for admission to the MS in Sport Management program, applicants must:
