The 2018 Texas 4-H Sport Shooting Games were held in Austin, Texas on July 20-22. Over 400 youth from around the state participated in the event.

In September 2018, members of the Texas 4-H Sport Shooting Program competed in the annual Texas 4-H Sport Shooting Games. The Games were held at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.
This event is the highlight of the year for our 4-H members who have spent countless hours practicing and honing their skills in order to compete at the highest level. These young people represent the best and brightest talent in the state of Texas, and we are extremely proud of their accomplishments.
The following is a list of results from the 2018 Texas 4-H Sport Shooting Games:
The 2018 Texas 4-H Sport Shooting Games were held in Austin, Texas on July 13-15. The event was put on by the Texas 4-H Sport Shooting Program and sponsored by the National Rifle Association. This was the first time the games have been held in the state of Texas.
The following are the results from the Rifle Competition at the 2018 Texas 4-H Sport Shooting Games.
First Place – 97.1
Second Place – 94.5
Third Place – 93.2
The shotgun event was won by Caleb Wilkins of Johnson County with a score of 97. Caleb was followed closely by Austin Dobson of Ellis County with a score of 96. Rounding out the top three was Collin Russell of Denton County with a score of 95.

The 2018 Texas 4-H Sport Shooting Games were held in San Angelo, Texas on June 23-24. Archery was one of the events offered, with a total of 73 participants. The results are as follows:
