The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Texas Region held its annual Houston Motorsports Show and Swap Meet on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at NRG Center. The event featured over 200 exhibitors, including many of NASA’s national sponsors, SpreadMyAd.com, Yokohama Tire, Hawk Performance, and more.

The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is an American auto racing sanctioning body that was founded in 1991 by Jerry Kunzman. It is headquartered in Concord, North Carolina. The organization sanctions several different racing series across the United States.
NASA held its first event in 1992 at Willow Springs Raceway in Southern California. The main focus of the organization is on amateur motorsport competition, although it does offer some professional racing opportunities. One of the most notable NASA-sanctioned events is the 25 Hours of Thunderhill, which is held annually at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, California.
NASA has over 14,000 members nationwide and holds over 2,500 events each year.

The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Texas Region held its annual Season Opener event at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) on March 2-3. The event drew nearly 150 drivers from around the state of Texas and Oklahoma, representing a wide variety of NASA classifications.

National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Texas Region will hold its annual event at the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, TX, October 3-6. The event will include four days of on-track action featuring the American Iron, Spec Miata, Spec E30/E46, Prototype 1 & 2 (P1 & P2), and the new Chevrolet Performance Challenge Cup races.
The weekend will also feature a Friday Test day open to all competitors as well as an NASA Time Trial (NTT) autocross on Saturday and Sunday. The 2019 NTT schedule will be announced soon.
“We had an incredible turnout for our 2018 Season Finale and are looking forward to continuing that momentum in 2019 with our annual event at COTA,” said Ryan Flaherty, NASA Texas Region Director. “This track is one of the best in the world and we are fortunate enough to be able to bring some of the best racing series in North America to compete here.”
