Texas State senior punter Ben Follis has been consistent as can be this season.
Follis is averaging a career-high in punt yardage (46.0) and if he can stay true, he’d end the season as the school’s single-season leader in punt average.
On a career note, Follis moved into sole possession of sixth place in punt yardage (6,142) and will eclipse Cory Elolf for fifth place with 17 more yards. From there, Follis would need 1,492 yards (or 32 more punts at his current pace) to nab fourth.
Imagine where Follis would be if he wasn’t forced to punt on the run as a freshman, sophomore and junior.
