College Football: Game Day (Idaho Edition)

Here is a look inside the Kibbie Dome (Photo via Google).

If Texas State beats Idaho this afternoon, it would do wonders for Dennis Franchione’s team. Not only would it be the Bobcats’ third consecutive win, it would make them bowl eligible for the first time in program history.

Let’s recap: Texas State, in just its second year as a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision, would be bowl eligible. That doesn’t mean the Bobcats would get to go to a bowl, but it would put them amongst a select group of teams to have that chance.

All of that, however, relies on the simple fact that Texas State continues to play solid defense and expands the playbook with true freshman quarterback Tyler Jones under center.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. inside the Kibbie Dome.
