ALBUQUERQUE — Texas State is on the road again.

After three of their first four games were at home, three of the Bobcats‘ next four games are on the road, beginning with this afternoon’s clash at New Mexico. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. CST inside University Stadium.

Coming into this afternoon’s game, Texas State is 2-2 after falling last week against Nevada. The Lobos are 2-3, fresh off a 32-29 loss to then-No. 24 Boise State.

Both teams like to run the ball, but UNM has a slight edge over the Bobcats. The Lobos average 253.8 yards per game, compared to Texas State’s mean of 150.8.

UNM is a 3-point favorite in this afternoon’s game, which will also serve as its homecoming.

Here is our preview of the game — Fran’s back on familiar ground.
