College Football: Post-Game Thoughts (Nevada Edition)

Hear what Texas State beat writer Tyler Mayforth and Nevada beat writer Chris Murray had to say following Saturday’s game.

The Wolf Pack handed the Bobcats a 34-21 loss. Nevada improved to 4-1, while Texas State fell to .500 (2-2).

I know that the rain didn’t help the crowd today, but we had a soon to be a top 25 team and it looked worse than a high school game. I sat through the rain and enjoyed the good football. I think that someone needs to really give the university some hell about the way they market and get fans(students) to the games. The game was on tv and it had to look bad. We have 35,000 students and maybe 3,000 showed up. I hope that somebody can lite a fire into the students. Everybody wanted Div 1 football but just want to party but not show up to the game.
