As the start of the 2012 football season gets closer, it’s becoming more evident that the Texas State Bobcats will use a two-quarterback system. Junior Tyler Arndt and senior Shaun Rutherford each proved worthy during fall camp, leading the coaching staff to believe both quarterbacks deserve playing time.
So who is going to start against the University of Houston on Saturday? Right now, it’s a toss-up.
Here is what Texas State‘s duo had to say following Sunday’s practice.

Thanks Tyler. I’m still wondering what type of 2 QB system this will be. Will they rotate possessions or will each player be substituted based on the type of play?
Great question. I tried to answer it in my newest post — http://texasstatesports.com/2012/08/29/college-football-two-quarterback-model/
