College Football: Getting to know Jerrid Jeter-Gilmon

Five Texas State Bobcats earned kudos from head coach Dennis Franchione after Monday’s scrimmage. Of the five, three were linebackers that came to Texas State via the 2012 signing class, which several scouting services anointed as the WAC’s best.

Each of those linebackers — freshman Jerrid Jeter-Gilmon, junior transfer David Mayo and junior transfer Damion McMiller — have spent a considerable amount of time working with the first- and second-string defenses.

Here is a video interview with one of those three linebackers, Jeter-Gilmon. He came joined the Bobcats after leading Brenham High into the area round of Class 4A playoffs in 2011.
