If former Texas State slugger Paul Goldschmidt keeps hitting like he is, there might not be enough room on the Internet for these Goldschmidt Trackers.
Goldschmidt did it again Friday night, clubbing his eighth home run of the season. It was a solo home run off Oakland A’s starter Tommy Milone on a 2-2 count.
In the first inning, Goldschmidt singled on a soft fly ball to center field, making sure his hit streak would extend to 15 games. He then added the home run in the fifth inning to raise his batting average to .298.
Here is an update from a funny Twitter feed dedicated to the balls Goldschmidt hits for home runs (@GoldyHRBalls).
Why do teams keep pitching to Paul? Seriously, I need a break in between trips to recover.
