Paul Goldschmidt is in his second season with the Arizona Diamondbacks (SMDR Photo).

So this Paul Goldschmidt fellow is pretty good.

Goldschmidt extended his hitting streak to 14 games Wednesday night, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and his seventh home run of the season. The former Texas State slugger put the Arizona Diamondbacks up 1-0 with an RBI double in the first, 3-0 on an RBI double in the third and 6-1 with an opposite field home run off the Colorado RockiesAdam Ottavino.

According to a tweet from Jules Tompkins of AZSports620:

Paul Goldschmidt: 1.405 OPS in 14-game hitting streak. Eight RBIs and 11 runs scored to go with nine doubles and five home runs.

Goldschmidt is locked in, to say the least.
