So this Paul Goldschmidt fellow is pretty good.
Goldschmidt extended his hitting streak to 14 games Wednesday night, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and his seventh home run of the season. The former Texas State slugger put the Arizona Diamondbacks up 1-0 with an RBI double in the first, 3-0 on an RBI double in the third and 6-1 with an opposite field home run off the Colorado Rockies‘ Adam Ottavino.
According to a tweet from Jules Tompkins of AZSports620:
Paul Goldschmidt: 1.405 OPS in 14-game hitting streak. Eight RBIs and 11 runs scored to go with nine doubles and five home runs.
Goldschmidt is locked in, to say the least.
