College Football: Texas State Nearly Cracks FCS Top 25

Some thought Texas State would be a shoo-in for The Sports Network FCS Top 25 poll after winning its fifth consecutive game. Well, the current poll was released this morning and the Bobcats are the first-team out.

Texas State leads all teams in the “also receiving votes” category, garnering 217 points. The Bobcats needed 478 points to crack the Top 25.

    Those leaving us out are doing so on purpose because of our transition status.

    No big deal, we just need to continue to collect scoreboards and build momentum leading into big boy football.
