- Wright said this will be a light week for the Bobcats as they’ll practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, lift Friday and then take off until Sunday afternoon.
- There are no major injuries for Texas State to report but Wright said a few players (he would not name who they were) will be kept out of contact drills this week.
- Wright said freshman Tyler Arndt is the true No. 1 quarterback right now. Make of that what you will, but it seems as if redshirt sophomore Tim Hawkins is no longer 1B but No. 2.
- Wright said last Saturday was the most physical he’s seen the defense play in his four years as head coach.
